A Lifetime of Piano.
As a self-taught pianist, playing piano has always felt like a special part of my life. The earliest memory I have is being 4 years old and playing simple melodies with one finger on a small piano. While these melodies were rarely impressive, they laid a foundation for more special things to follow in my future.
As I grew up a zeal for life grew within me. As a teenager I became inspired by love, by nature and romance; moments of pure serenity when we step into the unbelievable. I remember feeling an aching desire to capture these moments, and begun expressing my feelings of bliss through the only medium I knew how - the 88 keys of a piano. For over 21 years, the piano has allowed me to express the magic of love and the beauty of nature in a way words nor actions ever could. My teenage desire is one I have never been able to satisfy fully since I always find new and better ways of expressing the beauty I see. The allure of capturing beauty pushes me to continually progress as a pianist and is the same drive which inspires me to play piano every day.
On a summer evening in 2016 I made a visit to Brighton which would change my life forever. As I walked along the promenade I noticed a grand piano through the windows of The Grand Brighton Hotel. A young couple sat in the window, dressed elegantly and were staring into each others eyes over candlelight. I felt a sudden desire to play their piano to capture the beauty of the moment I could see. Following impulse and without asking, I entered the hotel and begun playing the piano. My music filled the room, adding to the atmosphere and as I looked up I noticed the couple had left their seats and were slow dancing, arm in arm. The waiters had stopped in their place and guests paused their conversations to listen. When the song finished the room erupted with applause and people had stood up from their seats in appreciation. It was in this moment I knew I had been blessed with a unique ability to touch people’s lives through the beauty of the piano.
Since then my passion for music has taken me all over the world. In August 2018 I returned from my first tour, performing in London, Amsterdam, Austria, France, Boston and Chicago, and I have recently returned from performing in Bangalore, India. To this day I continue compose all of my music by ear, I still cannot read music, and I have an infinitely intimate relationship with the piano.

I would love to hear from you! I love hearing people's testimonials of how my music has impacted their lives and influenced the spirit of their day. It would be great to connect with you.
